The Yukon-Kuskokwim Health Corporation is a Tribal health care organization, serving nearly 30,000 people living across rural, southwest Alaska in villages with populations from about 10 to more than 1,000. Bethel, the regional hub and location of the only hospital in the region, has a population of nearly 7,000. ResponsibilitiesPosition Summary: Assists with patient care based on individual patient needs within the scope of practice under direct supervision of the Registered Nurse.
Qualifications- High school diploma or equivalent.
- One year experience in acute hospital setting or in ambulance.
- Current BLS certification.
- ETT1 or higher certification preferred or to be obtained within 6 months of hired.
- Basic arrhythmia course (may obtain within 6 months of hire).
- Medical terminology
