Identify patients and match those patients with test requests, performing sample collection and providing a pleasant patient experience and quality specimens to the laboratory;
Accept specimens from other departments and villages and transmit samples and receive results from various reference laboratories.
Uphold the organization's vision, mission, and corporate values. Demonstrate understanding of and compliance with organization's policies, procedures, code of conduct and work rules.
Ensure absolute patient identification and match with required test; perform specimen collection, ensuring high customer service and strict attention to accuracy, integrity, and quality
Receive specimens from other NSHC entities, ensuring quality of specimens
Schedule patients for testing to maximize best use of laboratory resources while making the best possible accommodation for the needs of the patients
Perform drug testing and waived screening
Prepare specimens for shipment to reference laboratories
Perform other duties as assigned

High School Diploma or Equivalent
1 year(s) working as a phlebotomist or in a related field
AMT, ASCP, or Appropriate Phlebotomy Training Certificate.
