, recruiting for a Maintenance Generalist, Lead for the Anvil Mountain Correctional Center (AMCC), located in Nome, Alaska.

What You Will Be Doing:
  • Maintain the facility, working from work orders from staff or from blueprints that include plumbing, heating, electrical, carpentry, refinishing and new construction/modifications.
  • Performs duties according to uniform building code and maintaining the integrity of the facilities security procedures at all times.
  • Repair and clean plugged sewer lines; inspect and repair water lines, domestic and heating.
  • Repair sinks, toilets, showers, damaged walls, ceilings and floors.
  • Inspect, clean, repair, maintain and install hot water and steam boilers or other related heating systems.

The Working Environment You Can Expect:

Located in Nome, Alaska, Anvil Mountain Correctional Center is a minimum/medium custody facility that houses up to 150 inmates, both male and female. This position will be working closely around inmates and other staff on a daily basis.
