DescriptionService Excellence. Performance. Integrity. Teamwork. Consistency. Innovation. Perform, act, sing, serve food and beverage, and all related tasks associated with the Music of Denali dinner show in the Gold Nugget Saloon. Cast members rotate and perform a variety of roles in the dinner show, working as floaters, bartenders and all actively assist in dinner service. Maintain sanitation and safety protocols to align with state, local, and Company laws and regulations.
Responsibilities- Work closely with the show Manager and Food and Beverage management team.
- Work closely with the show writer.
- Perform pre-season rehearsals.
- Work closely with all entertainers on the words, songs, music, and timing of the show.
- Ensure a hands-on teamwork environment.
- Food and beverage service for the dinner portion of the show.
- Employee timecard management.
- Pre-shift and safety meetings with staff.
- Work independently with little or no supervision.
- Effectively and proactively communicate any safety, guest, or employee concerns with management.
- Contributing to the overall success of the MOD Dinner Show at the Gold Nugget Saloon.
- Contribute effectively to a positive guest experience while maintaining a professional attitude and appearance.
- Previous entertainment management experience.
- Must have or have the ability to obtain an Alaska Food Handler’s Card.
- Must have a valid alcohol safety card for the State of Alaska.
- Must pass a pre-employment background check.
- Minimum age of 18 years is required to reside in company housing, where available.
- Must be eligible to work in the United States. Holland America-Princess is unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of employment visas at this time (e.g., H-2B status).
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple tasks and external influences.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while achieving daily goals.
- Ability to support and comply with company policies, procedures, and guidelines including support and comply with company health and safety standards.
- Ability to stand/walk/work on feet for a minimum of 8 hours per day.
