Driver- Part-Time

Iron Planet is seeking Part-Time Drivers to support its Government Services division, specifically to fulfill contractual obligations for the Rolling Stock and recently acquired Non-Rolling Stock contracts with the Defense Logistics Agency (DLA), a division of the US Department of Defense (DoD). These contracts generate over $100 million annually and involve managing more than 50,000 items, including trucks, trailers, construction, agriculture, and material handling equipment across the United States, including Hawaii, Alaska, Guam, and Puerto Rico.

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in heavy equipment or transportation industries.
• Ability to travel up to 80% to various sites and meetings.

• Conduct weekly joint inventory processes with the DLA Disposition Services’ site Point of Contact and identify discrepancies.
• Coordinate with Iron Planet’s Logistics Manager regarding property relocation to Iron Planet storage facilities.
• Transport Iron Planet property from military installations or consolidation points to storage facilities.
• Perform inspections on each item and ensure accurate property listings on Iron Planet’s marketplace.
• Adhere to all company and DOT policies related to driving commercial vehicles.
• Meet pickup and delivery schedules.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
