HYBRID POSITION IN NORCO, CA
Job SummaryThe Database Engineer leads enterprise-level development and optimization of secure database systems. This position architects complex SQL solutions, enforces development standards, and ensures performance and security compliance for mission-critical systems.
As with any position, additional expectations exist. Some of these include, but are not limited to, adhering to normal working hours, meeting deadlines, following company policies as outlined by the Employee Handbook, communicating regularly with assigned supervisor(s), staying focused on the assigned tasks, and completing other tasks as assigned.
Responsibilities- Lead schema and stored procedure architecture across systems
- Optimize high-volume queries and support large data migrations
- Implement data governance and secure development practices
- Guide development teams on best practices and reviews
- Coordinate with cybersecurity and IT for database security
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field
- 6+ years of database development experience
- Advanced knowledge of SQL performance tuning and secure design
- Ability to travel to Norco, CA location 2-3 days per week

- Master’s degree or advanced database certifications
