Collect accounts payable from all departments to make payment in the proper period. Analyze the account payables to secure the limit of cash position. Be responsible for cash management and treasury activity.

Responsibilities
  • Manage EM WF Corp Cards and corresponding reimbursement as needed.
  • Review corporate cards to make monthly payment and report the statement to the management.
  • Report sales information of US and Canada to the accounting firm for reporting the sales income tax.
  • Review costs and expenses to ensure the booking keeping is compliance with SEC and GAAP reporting guideline.
  • Reporting Tax to the Tax Jurisdiction:
    Income Tax, Sales Tax in US, G/HST Tax in Canada.
  • As a part of month-end closing, perform asset registration/disposal/transfer as needed.
  • Reporting Estimated Tax Payment to the Tax Jurisdiction.
  • Create the vendor accounts requested by all departments after reviewing W-9 and appropriateness as a vendor.
  • Participate in external audits, providing supporting documentation, process flows and analysis.
  • Participate in an inventory audit every half year via physical counting and virtual calls.
  • Perform monthly inventory closing and file an inventory aging report.
  • Daily bank reconciliation with our book balance by having secure cash management and treasury activity.
  • Train/assist co-workers in software and information systems to support accounting functions.
Other duties

Other duties and functions appropriate to the position as assigned by the manager from time to time.

Work environment and other requirements

The work environment is a non-smoking office environment. No heavy lifting required. Mostly sitting with computer and phone usage. Accommodations can be made for handicapped employee. Travel only on an “as needed” basis.
