Senior Corporate Accountant | High-Growth Medical Technology Scale-Up
Reporting to:
Global CFO (Direct) & U.S. Operations Director (Dotted)
We aren’t just looking for someone to run reports; we are looking for the financial architect of our U.S. expansion.
As an established, globally recognized medical robotics and technology pioneer, our cutting-edge systems assist neurosurgeons in life-changing brain surgeries every single day. With U.S. revenues tracking in the mid-8 figures, and a trajectory poised to double, this role bridges the gap between foundational accounting and strategic business leadership. You will inherit a lean, agile environment, mentor a junior accountant, and possess the autonomy to transform our financial infrastructure for our next massive growth phase.
TheImpact You’ll Make
- Financial Orchestration & Architecture: Own the full-cycle financial engine of our U.S. entity. You will direct everything from high-level GL management, revenue recognition, and cost accounting to optimizing our monthly, quarterly, and year-end close.
- Strategic FP&A Partnership: Move beyond the spreadsheets. You will spearhead U.S. budgeting and forecasting, analyze complex variances, manage banking relationships, and deliver the data-driven insights that empower the executive team to scale operations.
- Next-Gen Infrastructure Upgrades: Help lead our upcoming enterprise migration from Quick Books to SAP. You will design, document, and implement bulletproof business processes and internal controls that strengthen our scalability.
- Tax Strategy & Compliance: Serve as the primary liaison to our external CPA firm, quarterbacking corporate tax filings, quarterly estimated tax strategies, and audit preparedness.
- Commercial Enablement: Act as a critical financial ally to our U.S. Operations Manager and elite surgical sales team, unlocking resources to help them crush business targets.
- The "Behind-the-Software" Thinker: You don't just rely on Quick Books automated entries to do the work for you. You possess a foundational, first-principles understanding of accounting mechanics and know exactly what is happening behind the ledger.
- Rigorous & Grounded: You have cut your teeth in high-standard environments—ideally starting your career with 2–3 years of rigorous audit experience at a Big 4 or leading public accounting firm
, followed by commercial industry experience. - Tech-Forward: Advanced Excel skills are second nature to you. If you have experience navigating SAP or building dynamic dashboards in Power BI
, you will immediately have a massive advantage here. - The Independent Operator: You thrive in an autonomous environment. With a global leadership team, you are trusted to be the definitive financial expert in the room, moving fast and pivoting with precision.
- Experience: 5–10 years of progressive accounting experience, with at least 2+ years in a senior corporate accounting capacity or as a senior public accounting auditor.
- Credentials: CPA certification is required.
- Systems: Deep expertise in Excel and Quick Books. Exposure to ERP migrations (specifically SAP) and data visualization (Power BI) is highly preferred.
- Presence: Exceptional analytical firepower paired with the polished communication skills required to advise C-suite stakeholders globally.
