Corporate Staff Accountant

Our client located in North Atlanta (Gwinnett) is looking for a Corporate Staff Accountant. The position is open due to a promotion. Duties will include the following:

• Financial Statements
• Reconcile monthly bank statements
• Record necessary journal entries and prepare financial statements and supporting schedules
• Prepare Work in Progress Schedules Payroll Administrator
• Organize, enter and process payroll data in Excel and Ulti Pro
• Prepare multiple payroll-related accounting reports and spreadsheets
• Maintain current and terminated employee files and databases
• Correspond with representative regarding payroll taxes
• Balance payroll reports in general ledger
• Prepare job-costing reports
• Reconcile quarterly tax reports to the general ledger Accounts Payable
• Responsible for coding, entering and paying corporate bills
• Maintain and create various schedules as requested Assistant Benefits Manager
• Enroll new employees in desired coverage as well as cancellation of benefits for terminated employees
• Assist employees with benefit-related questions, including 401(k)
• Manage COBRA benefit system for employees
