Senior Insurance Accountant
The Senior Insurance Accountant is responsible for performing complex accounting, financial reporting, and analysis for Health, Primary General Liability (PGL), and Workers' Compensation lines of business. This role ensures accurate GAAP and statutory reporting, compliance with NAIC regulations, and effective coordination with actuarial, underwriting, and claims functions. The position supports organizational goals through strong technical accounting expertise, internal controls, and financial insight.

Minimum
Education Required:
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field is required.
Minimum Experience
Required:
· Progressive insurance accounting experience
· Health, PGL, and Workers' Compensation experience or Property Causality and General Liability
Additional Qualifications:
(Preferred qualifications)
- CPA designation or progress toward CPA
- Prior public accounting experience auditing, advising, or consulting insurance companies
- Captive and Reinsurance accounting experience
- Experience in a multi-state, multi-entity, or regulated insurance environment
- Experience with insurance accounting systems and large ERP platforms
