Sales Trainee

Rexel USA is one of the largest distributors of electrical, data communication, and wireless communication products in the United States. Rexel operates its distribution business through eight regions and more than 460 warehouse locations nationwide.

We are looking for a Sales Trainee to join our Mayer team in Norcross, GA.

The Sales Trainee will complete an orientation program that covers all aspects of business sales, learn company products and services, gain familiarity with branch operations, build relationships with existing and prospective customers, and learn how to generate profitable sales. Successful completion of the program enables the trainee to apply for a full‑time sales role.

• Complete the mandatory orientation program focusing on product knowledge, warehouse operations, customer service, sales, and marketing support.
• Learn the entire sales process, including outside sales, inside sales, counter sales, project management, and additional related functions.
• Respond to customer inquiries, process orders, and provide mandatory quotes and pricing information.
• Build and maintain customer relationships and deliver excellent service while prioritizing transaction processing.
• Complete mandatory documentation such as counter‑sales reports, shipping documents, tickets, price sheets, and catalogues.
• Develop proficiency in the computer tools and systems used in daily operations.
• Work hands‑on in a rotation of roles—branch, warehouse, project house—to understand the materials flow and sales logistics.
• Travel on mandatory sales calls as required to shadow experienced personnel.
• Perform mandatory duties as assigned by management.
