A growing design-engineering firm is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer experienced in Data Center and mission-critical design
. This is a high‑visibility leadership position with opportunity to lead design efforts,
build and mentor your own team
, and play a key role in future hiring and growth initiatives.
You’ll be hands‑on in design initially, then transition into a leadership and oversight role while continuing to stay involved technically. The company maintains a lean, collaborative culture and offers hybrid flexibility when not traveling or at project sites.
Key Responsibilities- Lead electrical design solutions for data centers and complex power systems
- Prepare drawings, specifications, and construction documents
- Coordinate across disciplines, clients, and vendors
- Conduct site visits and field observations
- Ensure quality and accuracy of deliverables
- Mentor and guide junior engineers
- B.S. in Electrical Engineering
- Professional Engineer (PE) license required
- ~ 10+ years of experience, including data center design
- Strong knowledge of MV (34.5 kV) and LV distribution systems
- Experience with AutoCAD, Revit, Bluebeam
- Proficient in NEC, load/fault/voltage drop calculations
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem‑solving skills
- Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8–5
- Travel: ~25–30%
- Hybrid flexibility outside of office/site visits
- Compensation: ~$150 K–$170 K+ (Highly Negotiable Base Salary)
