- Lead the development of roadway design plans, concept reports, cost estimates, and final bid packages.
- Manage design elements including geometry (horizontal and vertical), cross sections, drainage, erosion control, and quantities.
- Contribute to innovative solutions and oversee specific roadway design tasks.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external partners, including GDOT, on both design-bid-build and design-build projects.
- Education:
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering. - Experience:
5+ years in roadway/transportation design. - Licensure:
Georgia PE license or ability to obtain within 6 months. - Technical
Skills:
Proficiency in Bentley Open Roads and familiarity with GDOT standards. - Bonus
Skills:
Experience with drainage design, MS4, and AutoTURN is a plus.
The approximate compensation range for this position is $82,000 to $159,000. This compensation range is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting. Actual compensation is dependent upon factors such as education, qualifications, experience, skillset, and physical work location.
