Vaco Atlanta is hiring a Project Engineer to a growing engineering company supporting mission‑critical projects. This newly created, high‑impact role offers the opportunity to shape projects from proposal through execution while building your career in a highly specialized field.
Role: Project Engineer
Location: Norcross
Job Type: Direct Hire
Onsite: 100% onsite
Compensation: $110,000 - $120,000 annually
What You’ll Do- Lead project planning, estimating, and proposal development for complex engineering projects
- Review electrical drawings, schematics, and technical specifications
- Coordinate with customers, vendors, manufacturing, quality, and engineering teams
- Manage project schedules, budgets, deliverables, and client communication
- Support technical reviews and engineering documentation in a regulated environment
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering
- 5+ years of project engineering, estimating, manufacturing, or project management experience (10+ years preferred)
- Experience designing electrical systems – not just testing
- Strong project management, estimating, and communication skills
- Leadership growth and team‑building opportunities
