Corporate Tax Analyst

Staff or Senior Tax Analyst | Hybrid (Metro Atlanta)

We're working with a privately held, growing organization to hire a Staff or Senior Tax Analyst to join a small, high-impact corporate tax team.

• Staff / Tax Analyst: 2+ years of relevant experience
• Senior Tax Analyst: 5+ years of relevant experience

• Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP)
• Strong data analysis (G/L, large data sets, apportionment, tax notices)
• Corporate tax experience; public accounting tax considered
• Experience with sales tax and W-9 processing
• Must have corporate tax provisions and/or returns (1120, GAAP provision)
• Self-starter with strong attention to detail and willingness to learn

• Tax administration experience
• One Source is highly preferred
• Journal entries and high-volume data exposure
• Financial services or insurance background
• CPA not required

• Stable, profitable company in acquisition mode
• Small team with clear growth runway
• High visibility across finance and accounting
• Supportive leader who mentors and develops talent
• Hybrid schedule with predictable hours outside busy season

• Prepare and format GL data for tax provision/compliance software
• Coordinate sales tax data and new location setup
• File excise returns; respond to tax notices
  
  Reconcile tax accounts; calculate estimated payments
• Support audits and external tax preparers

The salary range is noted in this job posting. The individual may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses, and can participate in medical, dental, and vision benefits as well as the company's 401(k) retirement plan.
