The Mortgage Loan Sales Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Norcross, GA, responsible for leading and growing the mortgage lending portfolio. This role oversees mortgage sales activities, manages and mentors a team of loan officers, and ensures that lending practices align with organizational goals and regulatory requirements. Day-to-day responsibilities include developing sales strategies, monitoring pipeline and performance metrics, coordinating with underwriting and processing teams, and maintaining strong relationships with members, real estate agents, and other referral partners.
The manager will analyze market trends, recommend product and pricing strategies, and support the delivery of an excellent member experience throughout the mortgage loan process. This position also collaborates with internal stakeholders to improve processes, enhance service quality, and contribute to community outreach efforts related to home financing.
- Demonstrated experience in mortgage lending, including mortgage loan origination, structuring, and sales management.
- Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to coach, motivate, and develop mortgage sales professionals.
- Knowledge of mortgage regulations, compliance requirements, and credit union or financial institution policies.
- Proficiency in pipeline management, sales forecasting, and performance analysis using relevant tools and systems.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills with members, colleagues, and external partners.
- Ability to work on-site in Norcross, GA, with strong organizational skills and attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience with mortgage LOS systems and familiarity with secondary market guidelines is beneficial.
- Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, or a related field, or equivalent relevant work experience in mortgage lending and sales.
