Job Description - Sign on Bonus!! RN Infusion Norcross (2602647)

JOB PURPOSE

Responsible for the clinical nursing care of the home infusion patients and management of nursing staff supporting Pruitt Health Infusion pharmacy.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Make home visits to evaluate appropriateness for home infusion services.

Teach and train patients and caregivers to participate in home infusion treatments in their homes.

Provide nursing interventions to home infusion patients within the accepted standards of practice based on national INS standards.

Assume full responsibility for professional management of assigned patients and nursing staff.

Maintain clinical records to meet federal, state, and agency regulations and standards.

Develop the Plan of Treatment and assist in maintaining the interdisciplinary care plan.

Assume and assign on‑call duties.

Supervise care provided by home infusion Licensed Practical Nurses and Registered Nurses.

Hold nursing meetings regularly.

Provide training as needed for staff.

Coordinate services with other agencies as needed.

Provide infusion in‑services as needed for non‑pharmacy clients and partners.

Assist with marketing visits as clinical support as needed.

Maintain timesheets and expense reports in a timely manner.

Review all nurse’s notes and prepare for billing.

Assist with pharmacy operations as directed by the Executive Director.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES

Maintain all infusion skills to be prepared for all aspects of home infusion treatments required.
Participate in continuing educational programs to keep abreast of changes in your field as well as to maintain current license and certification as required.
Attend and participate in mandatory in‑services.
Use all nursing education and skills to assist home enteral patients on pharmacy service.
Have knowledge and experience in managing staff.
Exhibit skills in conflict resolution.
Be available to all staff as needed.

MINIMUM EDUCATION REQUIRED

Bachelor’s Degree in nursing from an accredited college or university or graduate of an accredited/approved RN program.

MINIMUM EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

5‑10 years of nursing experience with a concentration on infusion and management.

MINIMUM LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION REQUIRED BY LAW

Current, active and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of practice. Current CPR certification.

ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS (PREFFERED)

CRNI preferred.
