Overview
We are seeking a strategic and hands‑on Senior Dev Ops Engineer to lead the design, implementation, and optimization of our CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure automation. This role is ideal for a technologist who thrives in fast‑paced environments and is passionate about driving Dev Ops maturity across the enterprise.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities- Architect and maintain scalable CI/CD pipelines using Azure Dev Ops and Infrastructure as Code (Terraform).
- Collaborate with development, QA, and operations teams to ensure reliable and secure software delivery.
- Lead Dev Ops strategy and advocate for continuous improvement and automation.
- Manage build and deployment processes across Development, QA, Staging, and Production environments.
- Implement and maintain change management workflows and source control practices.
- Partner with architects to embed operational excellence into system design.
- Mentor junior engineers and lead internal Dev Ops communities of practice.
- Define and track key Dev Ops metrics (e.g., deployment frequency, lead time, MTTR).
- Integrate security controls into CI/CD pipelines and ensure compliance with governance standards.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field, or equivalent experience.
- 5+ years of experience in Dev Ops engineering, including CI/CD, configuration management, and cloud infrastructure.
- Expertise in Azure Dev Ops, Azure Cloud, Terraform, Azure YAML pipelines, and Power Shell. Bash experience is a plus.
- Strong understanding of Dev Ops principles and best practices.
- Familiarity with Git, Visual Studio, and Microsoft SQL Server.
- Basic knowledge of coding languages including C#, HTML, and JavaScript.
- Basic knowledge of programming practices and procedures.
- Basic knowledge of databases (Microsoft SQL Server) and operating systems (Windows).
- Working knowledge of IIS.
- Experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Knowledge of observability tools (Dynatrace, Prometheus, Grafana).
- Exposure to Dev Sec Ops practices and compliance frameworks.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to type and look at a computer screen for long periods of the day. The employee must be able to sit for long periods of time.
