Telecom Analyst - 2600725
Description POSITION SUMMARY
The Telecom Analyst’s responsibility is to plan, develop, and implement the Pruitt Health telecommunications infrastructure. This includes installing, configuring, maintaining, supporting, and optimizing all telephone systems and services, mobile devices, voicemail, PBX and Cloud communication and eFax systems. The person will also analyze and resolve telecommunications circuit issues in a timely and accurate fashion, and support user needs where required.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
Procure, set up, maintain, and troubleshoot corporate iPhonesDesign and support telecommunications infrastructure and its associated software, including PBXs, call management systems, voice mail, interactive voice responseIntegrate these systems with enterprise LANs, WANs, wireless LANs, and Internet-based services and protocolsMonitor and identify capacity and performance issues for telecom traffic to ensure continued, uninterrupted operation of telecom systemsGenerate telecommunications usage and network traffic reportsConfigure, test, maintain, monitor, and troubleshoot end user telecommunications, telephony, and voice/data software productsPerform analysis, diagnosis, and resolution of telecommunications problems for end users; recommend and implement corrective solutionsConduct frame relay, ISDN, and switch maintenanceModify and/or rearrange telecommunications systems to accommodate additional services or changesAssist with inspection, testing, and maintenance of telephone lines, circuits, trunks, and associated wiring and cablingWhere necessary, liaise with equipment vendors during installations, acquisition negotiations, and hardware performance issuesAssist with the installation and troubleshooting of telecom systemsQualifications ESSENTIAL SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
- Avaya suite (Communication Manager 5.2.1 or higher)
- Contact Center (Ring Central Ring Cx and Ring Ex)
- Apple iPhones
PREFERRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
LICENSURE, CERTIFICATION AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor’s degree in information technology
