Responsibilities
Kforce has a clilent in Peachtree, GA that is seeking a highly skilled, hands-on Vulnerability Management Remediator to support enterprise-wide patching and remediation efforts. This role is focused on direct execution using Tanium to identify, prioritize, and resolve vulnerabilities across large-scale environments. This is a highly operational role requiring a
-keyboard-level- contributor who is comfortable working in fast-paced environments and executing high-volume patch deployments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform hands‑on vulnerability remediation using Tanium modules (Patch, Deploy, Comply)
- Execute patching across Windows, Linux, and third‑party applications
- Analyze vulnerability scan results from tools such as Tenable, Qualys, or Rapid7
- Create, test, and deploy patching policies and maintenance windows
- Validate deployments and ensure successful remediation outcomes
- Troubleshoot patch failures and endpoint communication issues
- Provide real-time remediation tracking and reporting
- Support critical and zero-day vulnerability response efforts
- Collaborate with infrastructure and application teams
- Maintain documentation and audit readiness
- Develop scripts to improve remediation efficiency
- 3+ years of experience in vulnerability remediation or systems administration
- Strong, hands‑on experience with Tanium (Patch, Deploy, Comply, Interact, Asset)
- Experience managing enterprise‑scale patch deployments
- Proficiency in Windows Server and/or Linux environments
- Ability to interpret vulnerability scan results and risk scoring (CVSS)
- Experience troubleshooting endpoint agents and patch failures
- Familiarity with change management processes
- Scripting (Power Shell, Bash, Python) experience
- Experience integrating with ticketing systems (e.g., Service Now)
- Knowledge of security benchmarks (CIS) and compliance frameworks (NIST, ISO, PCI)
- Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure)
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
