The annual base salary range provided for this position is a nationwide market range and represents a broad range of salaries for this role across the country. The actual salary for this position will be determined by a number of factors, including the scope, complexity and location of the role; the skills, education, training, credentials and experience of the candidate; and other conditions of employment.

As part of our comprehensive compensation and benefits program, employees are also eligible for performance‑based cash incentive awards.

Travelers is seeking a Technology Operations Engineer I in our Print Center to join our organization as we grow and transform our Enterprise Technology Solutions organization. This role will help ensure the reliability, scalability, and performance of critical systems through a combination of software engineering and infrastructure expertise. The position focuses on print/mail, data, and mainframe print environment using database, programming, operating systems, hardware, and software experience.

• Responsible for performing analysis, design, and implementation of reliability‑focused infrastructure, services, and on‑premises environments with a high degree of accuracy.

• Define and implement technical requirements for infrastructure provisioning, monitoring, and deployment.
• Design and enhance CI/CD pipeline workflows to improve deployment automation, rollback safety, and service reliability while resolving infrastructure issues of intermediate complexity.
• Configure and optimize cloud‑based and on‑premises systems to ensure high availability, performance, and operational resilience.
• Implement and maintain monitoring, alerting, and incident response systems while ensuring adherence to security protocols in both cloud and on‑premises deployments.

• Collaborate with software, platform, and infrastructure engineers to improve system reliability, scalability, and performance across hybrid environments.

• Three (3) years of site reliability/systems administration experience preferred.

• Relational Database Knowledge (SQL)
• Basic programming knowledge (Python, VBA)
• Operating Systems Experience (Windows, Linux)
