Network Administrator
Our client is seeking a Network Administrator to support, maintain, and improve their technology infrastructure across their organization and affiliated business units. This role is responsible for ensuring the reliability, security, and availability of critical IT systems, including network infrastructure, servers, Microsoft 365 services, workstations, remote access solutions, backup platforms, and cybersecurity tools. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience supporting enterprise infrastructure environments and a strong understanding of networking, systems administration, security best practices, and end-user support.
This is an excellent opportunity for an IT detail oriented who enjoys troubleshooting complex technical issues, working with vendors and technology partners, and contributing to infrastructure improvements that support business operations.
Responsibilities:
- Administer, monitor, and support enterprise infrastructure including servers, workstations, network equipment, firewalls, wireless systems, storage, backup platforms, remote access solutions, and Microsoft 365 services.
- Maintain reliable and secure local and wide area network environments.
- Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure, hardware, software, network, and access-related issues.
- Provide technical support to end users through phone, email, remote support tools, and in-person assistance.
- Collaborate with managed service providers (MSPs), core system vendors, telecommunications providers, cybersecurity partners, and other technology vendors.
- Support technology projects, system updates, maintenance activities, escalations, and infrastructure improvements.
- Maintain accurate IT documentation including system configurations, inventory records, vendor information, warranties, service agreements, procedures, and knowledge base documentation.
- Manage user accounts, permissions, security groups, Active Directory, Microsoft 365 administration, and access control processes.
- Execute, monitor, and validate backup and recovery procedures supporting business continuity and disaster recovery initiatives.
- Assist with patching, system updates, vulnerability remediation, security hardening, and configuration changes.
- Support infrastructure upgrades, migrations, lifecycle replacements, and technology expansion projects.
- Assist with audits, risk assessments, cybersecurity reviews, and regulatory compliance activities by providing documentation and technical support.
- Generate operational reports and support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end IT processes.
- Travel to additional locations as needed to support technology operations.
