About the Role
The firm is seeking a Senior Closing Attorney to lead and grow a new real estate division. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced real estate attorney with the skills and drive to build something from the ground up while being supported by a full administrative team. The role requires someone comfortable handling closings directly, ensuring compliance, and cultivating new business opportunities.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct and oversee real estate closings with professionalism and attention to detail.
- Review title work, settlement statements, loan documents, and related contracts.
Ensure all closings comply with legal, regulatory, and lender requirements.
Collaborate with lenders, agents, buyers, and sellers to resolve issues and move transactions forward. - Work closely with administrative and back-office staff to ensure efficiency and client satisfaction.
- Serve as a primary client contact during closings, providing counsel and reassurance throughout the process.
- Contribute to the growth of the division through revenue generation and client relationship development.
- Identify process improvements and help establish SOPs for the new division.
- Juris Doctor (JD) and active Georgia Bar membership required.
- 5+ Years of experience in real estate law
- Experience in real estate law with a focus on closings.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for client-facing interactions.
- Proven ability to manage high-volume transactions while maintaining accuracy and compliance.
- Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to build and grow a practice area.
- Competitive compensation structure with $110,000 - $140,000 base (experience dependent) + Revenue Generation Bonus
