The Customer Service Associate is responsible for delivering paint products to customers from Sherwin-Williams branches using company vans or pickup trucks. The role includes preparing, packing, labeling, loading, and safely managing deliveries, as well as operating color retrieval and paint mixing equipment when needed. This position also provides customer service, monitors inventory, and handles sales transactions in the POS system.

The individual selected for this role will work at Automotive Branch #9208 located at 6300 Jimmy Carter Blvd., Norcross, GA 30071. This is a part‑time position. The work schedule aligns with the branch’s hours of operation, Monday through Friday between 8:00 AM and 5:00 PM, with specific hours determined by business needs.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare orders for delivery or pickup according to schedule (load, pack, wrap, label, ship)
  • Load and unload products from deliveries
  • Operate and maintain warehouse vehicles and equipment, including forklifts, hand trucks/pallet jacks, carts, etc.
  • Assist customers in person and over the phone
  • Process sales transactions in the POS accurately and consistently with policies and procedures
  • Communicate and cooperate with supervisors and coworkers
  • Keep a clean and safe working environment and optimize space utilization
  • Follow quality service standards and comply with procedures, rules, and regulations
  • Ensure that the stockroom is organized
  • Operate color retrieval and paint mixing machine equipment as needed
  • Comply with inventory control procedures and assist with physical inventory processes
  • Complete monthly and quarterly safety training
Minimum Qualifications
  • Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without requiring sponsorship
  • Must possess an unrestricted driver’s license
  • Must be able to retrieve material from shelves and floor stacks and lift and carry up to 50 lbs. frequently and up to 70 lbs. on occasion, with or without reasonable accommodation
  • Must be willing to work all scheduled hours, with or without reasonable accommodation
Preferred Qualifications
  • High school diploma or GED
  • At least one (1) year of experience using material handling equipment (e.g., forklifts, pallet jacks, hand trucks, order pickers, vacuum‑hoists, drum dollies, conveyor belts)
  • At least one (1) year of experience in customer service, retail, or sales
