Purchasing & Shipping Specialist

Responsibilities:

+ Create, update, and track purchase orders for indirect materials, supplies, and services.

+ Communicate with vendors regarding pricing, product availability, lead times, and delivery schedules.

+ Enter, update, and manage purchase orders, sales orders, and inventory transactions within the ERP system.

+ Monitor open orders and proactively communicate status updates, delays, or changes to internal stakeholders.

+ Prepare shipping documentation and coordinate inbound and outbound freight activities.

+ Investigate and resolve order discrepancies, invoice issues, and shipping-related concerns.

+ Partner with operations, warehouse, finance, and customer service teams to support order fulfillment and continuous process improvements.

Qualifications:

+ High school Diploma

+ Experience working within an ERP system (Oracle preferred).

+ Previous experience in purchasing, procurement support, or supply chain coordination.

+

Experience with shipping administration, logistics, warehouse operations, or freight coordination.

+ Strong order management, data entry, and record-keeping skills.

+ Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.

+ Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining a high level of accuracy.

+ Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.

** Pay Details:**  $31.00 per hour
