Position: Purchasing/ Shipping Specialist
Duration: 12 Months
Location: Norcross, GA 30071
Job Type: Temporary Assignment
Work Type: Onsite
Pay Rate: $31.00/hour
Responsibilities- Create, update, and track purchase orders for indirect materials, supplies, and services
- Work with vendors to confirm pricing, availability, lead times, and delivery dates
- Enter and maintain customer or internal orders within the ERP system
- Monitor open orders and communicate status updates, delays, or changes to stakeholders
- Prepare shipping documentation, coordinate pickups, and support inbound and outbound freight activities
- Maintain accurate ERP records for purchase orders, sales orders, inventory transactions, and shipments
- Resolve order discrepancies, invoice issues, and shipping-related problems
- Coordinate with operations, warehouse, finance, and customer service teams
- Support reporting and continuous improvement efforts related to purchasing, shipping, and order management
- Experience working within an ERP system (Oracle Preferred)
- Background in indirect procurement or purchasing support
- Experience with shipping administration, logistics coordination, or warehouse support
- Strong order management and data-entry skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities with accuracy and follow-through
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and standard office software
