This position will be responsible for Forklift operational training to our North American Dealer Network for all departments, including but not limited to parts, service, warranty, and sales. Working with the Directors of AM and Sales, improving the processes and procedures, as well as strengthening the dealers' portal and training-related capabilities.

  • Train-assigned dealer personnel in the operating system so that they can train their employees.
  • Work with new dealers during the onboarding process to ensure a smooth transition in the Hyundai dealer network.
  • Support new and existing dealers with marketing promotions, department promotions, and other tasks as needed for dealers to improve their operational effectiveness. This may include system operations, contact with the Customer Service Team, promotions, programs, forecasting, and any other function relating to the dealer portal or systems.
  • Training materials are created and distributed to dealers on the contents (Dealer Portal, Importance of Genuine Parts, etc.) necessary to do parts business with HCE-NA.
  • Assist in the growth of Dealer and Departmental sales; monitor and evaluate process, quarterly, or as necessary.
  • Perform new dealer visits to provide training in departmental relations and operations; and, to introduce marketing strategies, programs, and sales enhancement.
  • Perform existing dealer visits to provide training and updates in departmental relations and operations, introducing new operational procedures and systems as needed.
  • Accompany Hyundai team members at events and industry trade shows, as deemed necessary.
  • Organize and promote annual meetings for dealer personnel in Norcross, including presentation materials, presenters, topics, meetings, meals, lodging, etc.
  • Enhance and support the current parts dealer scorecards and evaluation programs and distribute materials through websites, print sources, bulletins, industry print and electronic sources, and all other available media. Assist dealers in creating marketing resources for dealer parts, service, and warranty operations.
  • It plays a role in encouraging dealers to continue to promote and participate so that the promotion can proceed properly.
  • Support the Aftermarket department so that the HCEA parts price can become a competitive price by continuously researching and providing feedback on the parts market price to stimulate sales.
Responsibilities:

Requires understanding of company policies and procedures and All work must be conducted in accordance with company standards and policies.

Efforts are required to continuously develop one's work skills.

Help develop and write SOPs as needed for the departments supported.

Any problems found should be reported immediately.

Actively cooperate with requests for assistance from another subsidiary and HQ.

Requires a strong working understanding of systems and resources used in departmental operations and the ability to see through daily work situations and determine what resources are necessary to resolve them efficiently and appropriately.

Works in close unison and with full cooperation with the Director of Aftermarket in all circumstances and provides unified leadership with the Director of Aftermarket in all areas.

Other duties:

This position will provide feedback from dealer visits to the Leadership team to improve relations and enhance operational efforts in all departments.

This position will be involved in dealer ratings and goals for all supported departments, as well as development and compliance.

This position will also be a liaison with the Operational teams of each department and coordinate the efforts within the overall operating strategy.

The position will include interaction and training of the Hyundai employees as needed on programs and dealer performance to goal for programs, promotions and sales as needed.

An intimate knowledge of all phases and components of the parts, service, warranty and sales operation is required as well as being continually aware of any changes to operations, policies, procedures, or processes.

It is anticipated that this position will have some travel as well.
