JOB SUMMARY
The Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing all production and warehouse operations, including surplus and repair value streams, inventory, parts, and material flow. This role focuses on achieving performance goals in safety, quality, delivery, customer satisfaction, inventory accuracy, and productivity. The Operations Manager drives continuous improvement, develops team capability, and ensures efficient workflow, systems, and processes to support business growth.
This position requires a proactive leader who can balance strategic planning with hands‑on operational management. The successful candidate will foster a culture of safety, quality, and continuous improvement while driving efficiency and supporting company growth initiatives.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES- Lead and develop a diverse team of Operations Specialists, Technicians, and Support Staff.
- Build leadership capability through training, performance management, and succession planning.
- Manage daily operations to ensure on‑time delivery, product quality, and optimal resource utilization.
- Develop and implement process improvements that enhance efficiency and reduce downtime.
- Promote and enforce quality & safety standards in compliance with regulations and company policies.
- Analyze operational data and KPIs to identify trends, resolve issues, and drive continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, sales, and customer service to optimize processes and ensure customer satisfaction.
- Manage budgets, ensure cost control, and monitor financial performance of operational areas.
- Stay informed on industry trends and technology to improve production and service capabilities.
- Lead special operational projects, including new equipment integration and process optimization initiatives.
- May be modified from time to time; other duties, tasks and work may be assigned.

- Manage all site operations, including production, warehouse, and receiving teams.
- Supervise and develop Specialists, Technicians, and other support staff.

- Results‑oriented with attention to detail and ability to work in a fast‑paced environment.
- Proven ability to improve processes and align systems with business goals.
- Data‑driven decision‑making and proficiency in performance management.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, STEM, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- 3–5 years of experience in operations, production, or quality management preferred.
- Experience leading cross‑functional teams in a manufacturing or service environment.
- Knowledge of industrial or technical products a plus.

- Occasional sitting, reaching/working overhead, climbing or balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching or crawling.
- Frequent walking.
- Continuous standing and repetitive hand motion.
- Lifting requirements include frequent lifting of up to 50 pounds and continuous lifting of up to 10 pounds.

EMPLOYEE EVALUATION SUMMARY- Introductory Review – will be written at approximately 80 days after employment and will be used to determine whether employment will continue.
- Monthly Reviews – monthly objectives are established and a monthly summary review is administered which measures the attainment of those objectives.
- Annual Reviews – review same as monthly reviews for year along with strengths, areas for improvement, and plans/goals for upcoming year.
This is a management level exempt position that requires a work schedule that will achieve the results and objectives identified by the company and the General Manager, Production Services.
