Regional Sanitation Supervisor – Washington & Georgia
Full‑time, regular; shift 2 at Washington sites, shift 3 at Georgia sites. Salary $70,000–$90,000 annually.
Responsibilities- Supervise and coordinate sanitation activities across regional facilities.
- Ensure sanitation procedures follow established SSOPs.
- Monitor effectiveness through ATP testing, visual inspections, allergen control.
- Align sanitation schedules with production operations.
- Coach, train, and develop sanitation personnel.
- Support food safety & quality assurance and regulatory compliance.
- Maintain sanitation documentation, records, and audit readiness.
- Conduct pre‑operational inspections and support environmental monitoring.
- Identify opportunities for continuous improvement in sanitation efficiency.
- Independent work and multi‑priority management.
- Strong leadership, communication, training, analytical, and problem‑solving skills.
- Knowledge of sanitation chemicals, cleaning systems, and hygienic practices.
- Cross‑functional teamwork.
- Multi‑site program management and complex investigations.
- Computer proficiency (Word, Excel, databases).
- Excellent English communication.
- Spanish language desired.
- Sanitation leadership experience in food manufacturing.
- Experience supervising sanitation teams in a processing environment.
- Understanding of sanitation practices in food processing.
- Experience supporting HACCP, GMP, and verification programs.
Familiarity with ATP testing and environmental monitoring. - Valid driving history and eligibility.
- Fluency in Spanish (reading, writing, speaking).
- Bachelor’s in Food Science, Microbiology, Biology, or related field.
- OSHA 10‑hour certification.
- HACCP certification.
- PCQI certification.
- Exposure to cold/wet/dry conditions and temperature extremes.
- Mechanical hazards, electrical current, chemicals.
- Lift up to 50 lbs, ascend/descend ladders, use hand/arm repetitive motion.
- Stand long periods; support weekends/holidays.
- Travel to regional locations.
- Washington season: 6:00 pm–2:00 am, Monday–Saturday, with mandatory overtime before/after hours, holidays, and weekends.
- Georgia season: 9:00 pm–6:30 am, Monday–Saturday, with mandatory overtime as above.
