Lead Maintenance Mechanic

Responsibilities

The responsibilities of the Lead Maintenance Technician will consist of but are not limited to the following: the description does not list specific tasks; responsibilities may vary.

• Technical, vocational or trade school education is a plus
• Prior diagnostic, troubleshooting and preventative maintenance (PM) experience preferred
• Familiarity with various hand and electric tools
• Ability to troubleshoot electrical components and circuitry
• Ability to prioritize and organize work related tasks and special projects
• Must be able to speak, read, and understand English for purposes of performing necessary job duties
• Competence in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint)
• Detail-oriented and ability to meet deadlines
• Ability to work safely by following all maintenance department's standard operating procedures
• Flexibility and dependability are required and must be willing to work overtime, off‑shift, weekends, and holidays to support production needs
• Ability to work alone and in a team environment
• Ability to work in a production warehouse environment with exposure to various climate conditions (warm, cold, heat) and under stressful conditions such as small and high spaces
• Acceptable physical demands: continuous standing, walking, sitting, use of hands and fingers, grasping, reaching, climbing or balancing, stooping, bending, kneeling, squatting, stretching, crouching, crawling, pulling, pushing, working and reaching overhead, using ladders or lifts, and frequently lifting and/or moving up to 50 pounds or more
