Drafter

Join Superior Industries' innovative team as a Drafter, where you will play a pivotal role in creating and refining Superior designs for cutting-edge projects. This dynamic position demands strong technical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently. You will be responsible for producing accurate blueprints, assembly drawings, and bills of material, while collaborating on design improvements and ensuring all documentation meets production standards and deadlines.

Key Responsibilities

* Prepare Superior Equipment blueprints and detailed fabrication, weldment, and assembly drawings.

* Generate bills of material and routing information in JD Edwards ERP system.

* Update and modify drawings, ensuring design changes are accurately implemented.

* Ensure drawings and bills of material meet production requirements and company drafting standards.

* Contribute design ideas for new or improved products while meeting project deadlines.

Qualifications

* Proficient in using AutoCAD, Google Drive, and Windows-based software.

* Ability to quickly learn Inventor and JD Edwards ERP software.

* Possess certifications, technical education, or relevant experience in drafting.

* Thorough understanding of:

* AISC drafting standards

* Dimensioning and tolerances

* 3-dimensional layouts and 2-dimension projections
