Flexo Printing Plate Mounter Operator

Our client in Norcross, GA, is seeking a reliable Flexo Printing Plate Mounter Operator to join their production team. This is a full-time, long-term opportunity with a well-established manufacturing company.

Pay rate: $19/hr.

Schedule:

Monday–Thursday, 6:00 AM – 4:30 PM. Occasional overtime on Fridays.

Key Responsibilities:

• Mount flexographic printing plates onto cylinders according to production specifications.
• Inspect printing plates for defects, damage, and proper alignment before mounting.
• Ensure accurate registration and positioning to achieve high-quality print results.
• Clean, maintain, and organize mounting equipment, cylinders, and work areas.
• Verify job orders and production specifications before setup.
• Work closely with press operators and production teams to meet production schedules.
• Perform quality checks and make adjustments as needed.
• Follow all safety procedures and company policies.
• Maintain accurate production and inventory records when required.

Required Skills:

• Experience in flexographic printing or plate mounting preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and precision.
• Ability to read and interpret job tickets and production specifications.
• Basic mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift materials as required.
