Position Summary

Conduct a variety of hydraulic and electrical tests designed to reliably assure predictable pump performance.

Essential Functions
  • Understanding of Manufacturing processes.
  • Dismantling and assembly of pumps HSC, KFL, KP & VT Pumps.
  • Set-up and operate lathe equipment to perform required impeller trim operations.
  • Ability to perform balancing of impellers on balancing machine as per guidelines and procedures.
  • Analyze and diagnose if there is any problem in assembly of pumps.
  • Study of Pump performance processes.
  • Pump test set up for all pump models.
  • Conduct performance test and analyze data.
  • Study of VT Pump assembly and inspection processes.
  • Assembly of Pump and testing.
  • Dismantling of Pumps.
  • Study of Electric and Diesel set assembly processes.
  • Assembly of Electrical set.
  • Assembly of Diesel set.
  • Engraving of TAG.
  • Maintain 5S and safety.
  • Cleans and maintains an orderly work area.
  • Communicates effectively with other team members to direct personal workflow.
Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • 2+ years’ experience in manufacturing / lathe / balancing machine operations/Testing etc.
  • Forklift certified.
  • Experience working with pumps.
  • Experience in adjusting controls and taking data.
  • Mathematical and mechanical aptitude.
  • Ability to work well as a team.
  • High level of integrity and dependability with a strong sense of urgency.
  • Positive attitude.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to adapt to changes in the work environment; manages competing demands and can deal with frequent change, delays, or unexpected events.
  • Effective oral and written communication skills.

    Ability to work with minimal supervision and administer multiple projects and deadlines.
  • Demonstrate initiative, leadership and comfort working in a fast paced environment.
  • Ability to work well as a team.
