Overview

Sr Adv Supplier Quality Engineer at Honeywell leads a team of quality engineers to ensure suppliers meet Honeywell's quality standards and strategy in the manufacture of components. • Lead supplier quality improvement initiatives to drive continuous improvement and ensure compliance with Honeywell quality standards
• Conduct supplier audits to assess supplier capabilities and identify areas for improvement
• Drive root cause analysis and corrective actions to address quality issues and prevent recurrence
• Evaluate supplier capabilities based on Honeywell quality requirements and industry standards
• Monitor supplier quality metrics to identify trends and opportunities for improvement
• Provide technical guidance and support to suppliers to help them meet Honeywell quality requirements
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive supplier performance improvement and resolve quality issues
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to foster collaboration and partnership

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline (science, technology, engineering, or mathematics) from an accredited institution
• 6+ years of experience in supplier quality engineering or a related role
• Strong knowledge of quality engineering practices and methodologies
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
• Experience in conducting supplier audits and performing root cause analysis
• Knowledge of industry quality standards and requirements

• Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Engineering or a related field
• Experience in leading supplier performance improvement initiatives
• Six Sigma certification or knowledge of Six Sigma methodologies
• AS9100D knowledge
