Are you a food safety champion who loves solving process puzzles and elevating product quality? We are seeking an energetic Quality Assurance & Continuous Improvement Coordinator to safeguard our products, lead audit readiness, and optimize plant workflows.

• Pay Range:$59,000 to $64,000 depending on Experience
• Shift Type: 1st Shift / Monday - Friday / Full-Time

• Drive Compliance & Audits:
  Ensure total compliance with FDA, USDA, FSMA, and GFSI-BRC standards. Act as Lead Auditor for internal sanitation/food safety audits and oversee GMP (Parts 110 & 117) and cHACCP plans.
• Process Enhancement:
  Analyze plant workflows, investigate non-conformances or customer complaints, and implement continuous improvement strategies.
• Team Training & SOPs:
  Assess QA team training needs, maintain updated work aids (manuals, charts, code calendars), and hold monthly team meetings to address employee feedback.
• Cross-Functional Communication:
  Promptly escape food safety issues to QA Management and collaborate effectively with plant leadership, staff, and external suppliers.
• Special Projects:
  Assist leadership with high-priority quality projects and track key performance metrics.

• Deep working knowledge of QMS, cHACCP, FSMA, and GMP guidelines.
• Direct experience with GFSI-BRC, FDA, or USDA regulatory audits.
• Background in root-cause investigation, process analysis, and updating SOPs.
• Clear communication skills with the ability to lead, train, and collaborate across departments.

salary: $59,000 - $64,000 per year

• Ensures by keeping updates to compliance to Food Safety Regulatory Requirements a. Ensures highly disciplined compliance with all regulatory and Company. b. Defines and support food safety and sanitation standards, systems, procedures, and practices to guarantee product safety.
• Must be familiar with the Quality Management System.
• Reviews processing activities to ensure conformance to specifications.
• Assures that products are being produced in conformance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP's Part 110.0 & 117.0)
• Must be familiar with Food Safety Plan/cHACCP.Investigates and communicate to the Q.A manager all food safety issues.
• Responsible for assessing the training needs of the QA team, making sure that training is adequately performed and documented.
• Reviews and update work aids (instructions, charts, manuals, bulletins, code date calendars, etc.) essential for verification of product quality.
• Participates in food safety and sanitation audits.
• Conducts monthly team meetings to address employee issues.
