The RoleThe Assistant Store Manager reports to the Store Manager and assists in account management and sales activities while providing excellent customer service. The Assistant Store Manager collaborates with Acima retail partners to process applications, convert web orders into Acima credit customers, review lease applications, and promote Acima’s leasing benefits to drive conversions.
CompensationThe Assistant Store Manager position is paid hourly. Compensation is $14.45 – $16.49 hourly plus potential bonus based on performance, paid out monthly. Eligibility for bonuses requires active employment and meeting all bonus plan requirements as established by applicable law.
Key Responsibilities Sales / Account Management- Drive customer growth through web, partner stores, and walk‑ins.
- Listen, identify, and fulfill all customer needs in a timely manner.
- Educate customers on Lease‑To‑Own terms, benefits, application process, and closing the sales cycle by converting in‑store and web orders.
- Work as a cooperative team member with Acima partner stores in all operations aspects.
- Report to and communicate with the Store Manager regarding store and coworker activities and performance.
- Establish partnerships with retail store personnel to generate referrals and educate customers on the Lease‑To‑Own process.
- Promptly address and resolve customer issues and complaints to maintain consistent customer satisfaction.
- Cultivate a positive work environment to enhance coworker retention and minimize turnover.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- High school diploma or GED.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software applications.
- Familiarity with rental or leasing industry practices is a plus.
- Organized with time‑management skills and the ability to multi‑task.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Consistent in‑person attendance.

This is a full‑time position. Days and hours of operation are Monday through Sunday, including evenings and weekends. Actual work hours will vary.
Physical DemandsThe Assistant Store Manager is regularly required to talk and listen to coworkers and customers, stand, walk, bend, kneel, stoop, crouch, crawl, and climb at times.
