Job Overview
Location:
Store E00760 LOG – Distribution – General ATL.
Position: Full‑Time.
This role performs manufacturing duties in Distribution and Inventory within a production environment, ensuring compliance with established procedures and policies. The position requires regular and timely attendance, with availability for overtime as needed.
Major Duties and Responsibilities- Distribution
- Frame Receiving:
Match and verify incoming frames to work orders. - Frame Tracing:
Remove lenses, operate tracing machines, mark lenses for axis orientation and calibrate machines. - Frame Management:
Match frames and lenses to ensure timely product launch and prioritization. - Shipping:
Scan trays, prepare invoices, match invoices numerically to tray numbers, wrap finished jobs, sort by account number, and label and close boxes for shipment.

- Lens Receiving:
Place lenses in correct inventory locations and rotate stock. - Lens Pick:
Retrieve lenses from shelves, verify against work tickets to ensure correct lenses are pulled. - Lens Ordering:
Manage lenses, create orders to send to suppliers, and assist customer service with lens availability. - Outsourcing:
Handle necessary steps to send or receive lens orders within the Essilor Luxottica lab network.
- Lens Receiving:
- Strong teamwork skills and the ability to work in a fast‑paced production environment.
- Ability to read, write, and comprehend simple instructions and short correspondence in English.
- Basic math skills: adding, subtracting, understanding decimals, and accurately comparing numbers and letter sequences.
- Good visual acuity: close vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
- Fine motor skills: coordination of hands and fingers to grasp, feel, transfer small items, and perform bilateral reach with arms.
- Strong organizational and planning abilities, with the capacity to multi‑task, prioritize, and exercise good judgment.
- Ability to stand for 8 or more hours a day.
- Capacity to perform repetitive motions.
- High school education or equivalent.
- Previous related experience or training.
Employee pay is determined by location, experience, qualifications, skills, and local minimum wage requirements. Salary may be complemented by a competitive bonus and/or commission plan.
