GDS Technology, Atlanta’s premier IT Solutions Provider, is expanding our Sales Team to keep up with growing demand in the technology and cybersecurity marketplace. We are seeking a motivated and results-driven Outside Sales Professional who is client-centric, money motivated, and thrives in a hunter-led sales role.
This position is primarily focused on new business development, with approximately 75% of the role dedicated to hunting, prospecting, and closing new clients, and 25% focused on growing and maintaining existing customer relationships. You will engage decision-makers, uncover business and technology challenges, and deliver consultative solutions that help organizations operate more securely and efficiently.

Responsibilities- Prospect, qualify, and close new business opportunities (primary focus)
- Develop and execute outbound sales strategies within the assigned territory
- Build rapport and establish relationships with prospective and existing customers
- Conduct in-person and virtual sales meetings throughout the Atlanta metro area
- Understand customer business challenges and align appropriate technology solutions
- Consistently follow and execute a proven sales methodology and process
- Maintain accurate documentation of leads, opportunities, and activity in the CRM
- Meet or exceed assigned sales goals and performance targets
- Manage a limited set of existing accounts for expansion and upsell opportunities
- High school diploma or GED required;
Bachelor’s degree preferred - 2–5 years of experience in a closing, new-business sales role
- Strong ability and willingness to prospect and hunt for new opportunities
- Experience following a structured sales methodology and process
- Excellent negotiation, presentation, and customer service skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Persistent, self-motivated, and driven to exceed sales goals
