About the Role
Canon USA is seeking a Sales Consultant for Large Format Printer Solutions. The role is responsible for increasing sales, building strong customer relationships, and supporting dealer partners to expand market share in the large‑format printing industry.
Your Impact- Sales Growth & Account Management: develop and execute sales strategies for assigned dealer accounts; identify and nurture opportunities to drive product adoption.
- Dealer Enablement: partner with dealers to improve product knowledge and sales effectiveness through training, demonstrations, and joint calls; assist dealers in positioning Canon large‑format solutions to meet customer needs.
- Customer Engagement: conduct product demonstrations and presentations; provide technical insights and solutions across photography, proofing, retail, signage, architecture, manufacturing, and other industries.
- Market Analysis: monitor industry trends, customer needs, and competitor activities; provide feedback to marketing and product teams for enhanced positioning and dealer support materials.
- Collaboration & Reporting: work closely with internal printers and service teams to ensure a seamless customer experience; maintain detailed records of sales activities, account plans, and market data in
Travel extensively within the assigned territory, with over 75% of the week spent on overnight travel (driving or flying) for company business.
Qualifications- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or equivalent experience.
- 5+ years of related experience, including 3+ years in large‑format printing, display graphics, or related industries.
- Familiarity with large‑format printing solutions, workflows, and related applications.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills; ability to present complex solutions clearly.
- Goal‑oriented, self‑motivated; able to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
- Valid state driver’s license with a clean driving record; compliance with company safety guidelines.
- Base salary range $69,300 – $103,770 annually (adjusted for location): $70,310 – $103,770 in California; $80,170 – $103,770 in Washington.
- Commission eligibility under applicable plan.

Full‑time virtual position; office open 5 days a week, but employees are not required to report unless a specific business need arises. Daily tasks are self‑managed with weekly reporting.
