As a Security Officer – Distribution Site – Full Time in Norcross, GA
, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As a Screener with Allied Universal, you will help deter security-related incidents by monitoring and patrolling designated logistics and distribution locations. You will conduct routine patrols, remain highly visible to promote a secure environment, and deliver outstanding customer service through clear communication.

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Screen individuals, vehicles, and/or packages entering the logistics and distribution location to help deter unauthorized access.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and perimeter to deter potential security-related issues.
• Maintain detailed and accurate records of all screening activities and incidents.
• Communicate with Allied Universal management and site personnel regarding security-related matters.
• Follow all site protocols for access control, visitor management, and emergency response.
• Remain alert and observant to deter and report suspicious activity within the logistics and distribution environment.

• At least one year of security-related experience is required.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
