$19.00 to $23.00 per hour

This position requires up to 100% travel out of state. Travel schedule is a 28-30 day rotation with a 5 day break between each rotation.

• 40-60 Hour Work Weeks.
• Complete the initial safety and technical training onboarding.
• Move and position dunnage to secure materials before installation.
• Assist with demolition and removal of existing roofing material.
• Load and unload sheet metal materials, tools, and equipment.
• Assisting the sheet metal crew with laying out material as needed.
• Learning the basic technical details of sheet metal roofing.
• Maintaining a clean and safe work site.
• Following the directions of the foreman, assisting with tasks they feel are appropriate.
• Participating in continuous improvement initiatives.
• Periodic, Regional, and overnight stays for job completion.

• No Experience required (willingness to learn)
• Commercial Roofing experience in Sheet Metal preferred
• OSHA 10, Fall Protection, Aerial Lift certification(s) preferred

• Clear a National, State, and Local Background Check
• 3-Year Motor Vehicle Record meeting standards to drive company vehicles. (If hired as a driver)
• Candidates must pass a pre‑employment drug screen & complete Post Hire fit for duty screening.
• Ability to lift and move up to 75 lbs.
• Pass the 90-day introductory period.
• Willingness to learn from other technicians & direct supervisors.
• BASIC COMPUTER LITERACY REQUIRED

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to fumes or airborne particles, moving mechanical parts, and vibration. The employee is occasionally exposed to a variety of extreme conditions at roofing job sites. The weather work environment and job sites can be extremely hot or extremely cold. This position is performed inside and outside.

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. The employee is occasionally required to sit; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 75 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
