Printer Field Service Technician

About the Role

Canon USA is seeking a Field Service Technician to deliver excellent service experiences and maintain efficiency during routine maintenance of Canon-supported products, following Service and Parts Standards.

• Report product failure trends and serviceability issues to management with accurate documentation.
• Meet customer demands by providing efficient, responsive, and accurate Field/Shop/on‑site maintenance.
• Maintain all technical information, Field Service Reports, Expense Reports, and Canon property assigned.
• Demonstrate strong customer communication and satisfaction skills.
• Ensure performance of assigned machines meets operational standards.
• Assist in achieving branch or district metric targets.

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Basic understanding of internet environments.
• Ability to complete the 120‑day introductory period and the PDIF (Printing and Digital Imaging Foundations) new‑hire class.
• Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record; willingness to travel.
• Ability to obtain necessary security and/or clearances requested by customers.
• Physical capability to lift 50 pounds and be active more than 50% of the time (walking, standing, stooping/kneeling).
• Compliance with customer policies and protocols, including COVID‑19 vaccination requirements as applicable.

Base salary range: $19.00–$26.50 per hour. Eligible for a transportation allowance.

Full‑time, on‑site role requiring presence at the assigned office, worksite, or territory on scheduled work days.
