Heavy Equipment Operator - Haul Truck

In this role you will support operations by ensuring equipment performance, safety, and maintenance throughout our facilities.

• Promote Safety. In accordance with MSHA and Vulcan standards, take an active role in prioritizing safety throughout the operation for yourself and others at all times.
• Operate Heavy Equipment. Operate off‑highway equipment to transport raw materials and finished products safely and efficiently.
• Inspect Equipment. Perform thorough pre‑trip and post‑trip inspections and complete accurate daily mobile equipment reports and other relevant documentation.
• Maintain Equipment. Maintain performance by checking fluid levels, adding correct fluids, and assisting with minor maintenance.
• Monitor Processes, Materials, or Surroundings. Monitor the plant and operations and report any necessary maintenance or adjustments to ensure safety.
• Additional Responsibilities. Other duties as assigned.

• Experience. Previous experience operating heavy construction equipment (preferred).
• Knowledge. Knowledge of general principles and practices of operating and servicing heavy construction equipment (preferred).
• Flexibility. Willingness to work overtime and extended hours as required by customers and company demands.
• Ability to work outside in all weather conditions and tolerate exposure to loud noises.
