Position Overview
Our client is looking for a skilled Heavy Equipment Technician to join their service team. This position is responsible for diagnosing, servicing, and repairing a variety of construction and heavy equipment. We are open to technicians with experience across different manufacturers and equipment types.
Responsibilities- Diagnose and repair mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical issues on heavy equipment
- Perform preventive maintenance and routine service
- Troubleshoot equipment problems and determine appropriate repairs
- Inspect equipment to identify potential issues
- Service a variety of construction and compact equipment
- Operate equipment as needed to diagnose and verify repairs
- Complete quality repairs while maintaining a strong focus on customer service
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment
- Previous experience servicing or repairing heavy equipment
- Strong mechanical troubleshooting skills
- Knowledge of hydraulic and electrical systems
- Ability to diagnose equipment issues and complete repairs
- Experience with construction equipment is preferred
- Experience with different equipment manufacturers is welcome
- Ability to operate heavy equipment or willingness to learn
- Strong work ethic and dependable attendance
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Four 10-hour shifts
- Monday-Thursday or Tuesday-Friday
- Overtime may be available based on business needs
