Overview

Transdev in Norcross, GA is hiring a Buildings and Ground employee. The Buildings and Ground Employee is required to perform basic vehicle servicing duties. We are looking for customer service-oriented professionals who are dedicated to safety.

• Position Subject To Collective Bargaining Agreement

Salary reflects the Union Collective Bargaining Agreement Payscale: $19.76 per hour.

• Vacation: up to 40 hours after 1 year of service
• Paid Sick Leave: 8 hrs monthly full-time employees / 4 hrs monthly part-time employees

• Maintain the cleanliness of fleet vehicles – interior and exterior
• Driving, maneuvering, and parking vehicles
• Fueling buses, replenishing fluids, and logging/recording all fluids
• Downloading drive cameras and probes/fare boxes
• Perform light maintenance to shop areas, fueling stations, and related facilities
• Report maintenance issues to supervisor
• Other duties as required

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Valid driver’s license for a minimum of 3 years
• Subject to a DOT drug testing and physical if applicable. DOT Regulation 49 CFR Part 40 does not authorize the use of Schedule I drugs, including cannabis, for any reason

• Must be able to work shifts or flexible work schedules as needed
• Long periods spent sitting, typing, or looking at a computer screen
• Work environment will be a combination of indoors and outdoors
