TRC Talent Solutions is currently hiring for skilled Box Truck Drivers for our Technology-based client in Norcross, GA! Will be responsible for driving a company van or box truck to pick and deliver products.
Position: Box Truck Driver or Van Driver
Location: Norcross, GA
Shift: 8:30am-5pm
Pay rate: $19/hr (Based on experience)
Job Type: Direct Hire
Position Summary:
TRC Talent Solutions is currently hiring for skilled Box Truck Drivers for our Technology-based client in Norcross, GA! Will be responsible for driving a company van or box truck to pick and deliver products. Delivery locations can be local school systems, medical facilities, and/or major companies.
Essential Job Duties & Responsibilities:
- Perform local deliveries throughout 50-80 miles daily to customers
- Prioritize customer needs by accommodating last minute or unscheduled deliveries
- Maintain reports, such as maintenance and time records.
- Provide excellent customer service
- Follow safety rules as required by DOT, OSHA
- Assist with loading and unloading and inspecting all materials received for accuracy
- Communicate customer concerns and inventory issues
- Use Oracle, Ship console and legacy shipping systems
- Utilize material handling equipment, such as forklifts and hand trucks.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 6 Months prior experience
- Clean driving record
- Must pass DOT Physical
- Basic knowledge of safety practices and procedures.
- Ability to lift 50 lbs.
- Able to sit / drive for 6 + hours
- Must have a valid Georgia driver's license
