Warehouse Teammate/Delivery Driver

Location: Norcross, GA

Pay: $22 to $24 per hour

About Driver the Role

Work independently providing great customer service and safety‑conscious operations.

  • Operate trucks safely in compliance with company rules, laws, and regulations. Destinations include job sites, customer facilities, vendor facilities, other Hajoca locations, other wholesalers.
  • Load the truck at the Profit Center with Hajoca merchandise, secure the load, and ensure the necessary equipment to unload is available.
  • Understand shipping documents and accurate directions to destinations.
  • Review shipping documentation and ensure order accuracy.
  • Unload correct merchandise, obtain legible signatures per company policy, collect and secure outstanding payments for cash sales prior to release.
  • Work with customers at delivery sites to resolve shipping discrepancies quickly and accurately.
  • Load truck at other locations with merchandise: vendor pickups, returns, and purchases from other wholesalers.
  • Provide sales leads by noting prospective customer names and addresses discovered during deliveries.
  • Inspect truck and required parts and accessories to determine safe operating condition before departure; keep truck clean of debris.
  • Advise management of mechanical problems. At the end of the workday, complete the Driver’s Daily Vehicle Inspection Report when driving a delivery vehicle with a GVWR of 10,001 lbs. or more if a defect or deficiency is found.
  • At the end of the workday, remove keys from the truck and store them in the approved location.
  • Successfully complete required safety and compliance training programs as assigned.
  • Perform other reasonably related duties as assigned by the immediate supervisor and management.
About the Warehouse Role
  • Count, verify, and receive incoming vendor shipments and customer return material.
  • Stock and maintain the warehouse; pick, document, and pack customer orders per company policy.
  • Pay high attention to detail to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Handle shipping discrepancies per procedures or forward appropriate paperwork to the designated employee.
  • Identify non‑stock, special‑order, and damaged material and store them properly.
  • Complete necessary documentation for customer shipments delivered via third‑party carrier.
  • Load and unload trucks; operate warehouse forklift and other material‑handling equipment safely.
  • Inform the immediate supervisor of stock depletions, count discrepancies, or damaged merchandise that could impact service levels.
  • Ensure security and controls are in place to protect Profit Center assets.
  • Maintain warehouse cleanliness, order, and safety; remove debris and inform the supervisor of safety issues.
  • Assist co‑workers in servicing customers.
  • Perform all job functions in accordance with the company’s safety standards.
  • Successfully complete required safety and compliance training programs as assigned.
  • Perform other reasonably related duties as assigned by the immediate supervisor and management.
About You
  • Drive a vehicle over 10,000 lbs. As a non‑CDL driver you must be at least 21 years old, possess a valid driver’s license, have a driving record that meets company criteria, and pass a Department of Transportation physical examination before beginning work and again at least every two years.
