Full-Time Music Teacher at King Philip Regional Middle School. The ideal candidate demonstrates strong musicianship, basic piano proficiency, collaboration skills, and a commitment to fostering musical growth for all students.

King Philip Regional Music Program is recognized for its tradition of excellence and high-quality music education. Our department collaborates to inspire creativity, develop musicianship, and cultivate a lifelong appreciation for music.

• Teach 7th and 8th Grade Chorus
• Teach 7th and 8th Grade General Music

• Prepare students for evening concerts, district auditions, festivals, and other performances
• Collaborate with choral and instrumental colleagues to develop and align curriculum and support student growth
• Strengthen the district s comprehensive music program spanning grades 7–12 and the three elementary schools that feed into the district
• Contribute positively to the continued growth and excellence of the King Philip Regional Music Program

• After-School Music Clubs
• Middle School Vocal Ensemble
• MS/HS Musical Music Director/Pit Conductor
• Additional offerings based on student interest and candidate expertise

• Demonstrated success teaching middle school choral ensembles
• Knowledge of age-appropriate vocal pedagogy and adolescent voice development
• Experience programming engaging and educational choral literature for middle school singers
• Ability to inspire and support students across a wide range of musical abilities
• Strong conducting, rehearsal, and performance preparation skills
• Excellent collaboration and communication skills with colleagues, students, and families
• Commitment to building a positive, inclusive, and student-centered music program

• Citizenship, residency, or work visa required
• At least 3 years of relevant experience preferred
• Bachelor degree preferred
