As a Grants Accountant
, you will:
- Provide pre- and post-award financial management for external funds
- Assist with development, modification, and submission of IANR contracts & agreements
- Strategically manage capacity funds and provide recommendations and analysis to Deans
- Generate, analyze, and evaluate financial reports, create projections, and make recommendations to administrators

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree plus four years’ experience in any combination of project accounting, grants/contracts or financial management required.
- Working knowledge of general accounting principles, grants/contracts, budgeting or financial reporting/management is essential.
- Understanding of large integrated financial management systems and experience with spreadsheets necessary.
- Ability to independently analyze information, apply problem solving skills and incorporate strategic vision in order to make sound decisions necessary.
- Must be comfortable prioritizing multiple, time-sensitive and competing priorities.
- Prior experience managing grants and contracts would be beneficial.
- Ability to build strong professional relationships with people at all levels and across diverse demographics.
