The Building Access Associate will process all incoming requests and inquiries, via phone and email, regarding University access systems. Maintain up-to-date system knowledge to provide high level end‑user customer service, as well as fill the role of central contact for all University key managers regarding inquiries, issues, and requests. Administer processes and analyze system issues as they arise to explore alternatives and provide solutions while maintaining security and system efficiency.

MinimumRequired Qualifications
- High school or equivalent experience is required.
- Two years of work experience, or post‑secondary education, that demonstrates excellent customer service skills and the ability to maintain a professional relationship verbally and written, while working under pressure in a fast paced environment.
- Proficient with computers, including knowledge of Microsoft Suite.
- Excellent customer service, ability to maintain a professional relationship verbally and written.
- Detail oriented.
- Ability to multi-task within several different computer programs at one time.
- Associate’s or equivalent education/experience in a Information Technology or related field.
- Previous work experience with a physical access control systems (PACS), experience with identity management systems and/or group access programs.
- Knowledge of, regular use, and troubleshooting of physical access control systems (such as AccessIT, Universal, Genetec, Lenel, etc.) and group access management systems for managing role based use (such as Grouper).
- Knowledge of the University Events Management system.
Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) required. Subject to DOT approved pre‑employment & random testing for alcohol and controlled substances.
